ICE FISHING
There are days when you just want to do something adventurous. As much as I wanted to today life’s responsibilities kept getting in the way. At one point I started to contemplate a fishing trip however it was cold and gray outside (I live in Florida, go figure) and as I sat there staring at my drawing board, with that plain white sheet of paper taped down in the middle of it, I was drawn back to how beautiful the sky was when it got so very cold outside. For fun we would go out ice fishing on one of the many lakes I grew up around, setting the poles with the little red flags spread out wide around the cove making it easier to watch for the flags from the shore line where we would have a warm fire burning. Before I knew it the paper had come to life with memories from long ago when life was still simple. Yes life is Great.
