Some days are so much better than others too be out on the water. So when you hear the sounds (thunder travels further) of an approaching storm to the southwest of the lighthouse you start to pay real close attention. When the wind picks up and with enough heating from a hot, sunny, Florida afternoon, showers have a tendency to pop up unexpectedly quick, and from time to time you may experience a waterspout coming down out of one of those afternoon thunderstorms. So there is absolutely no question as to what to do when this happens, you put your vessel into gear, hammer it down as far as you can and with some luck you will have enough horsepower to out run the storm Yep life still is great.
