Growing up in the Pocono Mountains was a trip to say the least, boating on Lake Wallenpaupack in the short time before summer would arrive was always one of the best times though, why you ask, well that’s simple. Getting out on the lake, in the early morning hours (before life got started for the day) and seeing what cabins and houses were not yet set up for the summer season had a very relaxing effect on me. It was fun to cruise (not to fast and not to slow) just off the shoreline and watch as life was returning to the area after a long cold winter, and now I sit and think how good those days were and how great life was and still is.
