The day was October 31st (Halloween night) 2013, and we were in the truck going around the neighborhood with a bed load of kids (all dressed in their favorite Halloween costume) when my daughter Jennifer snapped a picture of the sun setting as we rounded a corner. It was a great night all in all. Now normally I would have put this in the time and tenderness series and went with the story as it were, however as I was flipping through the photos, I enlarged it and played with it a little bit to see what kind of effects I would be able to create with the image, then I sat down at my drawing table and created something beautiful from where my imagination went. I guess one could say it was just an elementary way to start what all artist do. Create a beautiful image that will last the testaments of time. Yes life is great.
