We use to go to the Anclote Fishing pier, (out by the power plant) a lot. One afternoon while we were their just enjoying the day, I happened to noticed something different. The Gulf of Mexico appeared to be standing still,(unlike the one day that it was gone, but that’s another picture for another time) the water was an eerie calm, not moving much at all in any given direction, even as the sun was reflecting off the sandy bottom. That is the moment that I realized that this was just another day in paradise and just how blessed we are to get to enjoy paradise every single day. Yep life is great.
