A SUNSET ON FIRE
When I first moved to Florida back in 1985, there was a place out by the power plant that sits on the Gulf of Mexico that the locals referred to as the moon. It was a stretch of land on the north channel of the power plant that you could go and party without getting into too much trouble. We would go out there in the middle of the day with the coolers packed full of our favorite beverage, start a fire on the beach and would wait for the sun to set. Often times the fire and the setting sun would compete to see which one was going to put out the most sensational colors. Looking back in time I have come to understand just how romantic this actually was when you included that someone special. Yep life is still great.
